Odisha cabinet to meet today: 6 proposals on agenda

An important meeting of the Odisha Cabinet is scheduled to be held at the state secretariat here thise evening. The state Cabinet meeting, to be chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, is likely to discuss six proposals at the meeting, sources said.

The important proposals that are likely to come up for approval during the meeting are amendment of service rules of Group C and Group D employees of the Health department; a proposal by the Water Resources department for construction of a bridge over river Mahanadi at Nuapatna to connect with Cuttack; implementation of single tax system in Transport department and amendment of the Corporation Act, sources said.

However, there is no official word on these proposals.
