Odisha Capital records highest day temperature pan-India
Bhubaneswar: Denizens of Bhubaneswar, the Odisha Capital city, had a harrowing time today as the maximum day temperature touched 40.4 degrees Celsius. According to the data provided by the Regional Meteorological Centre, the Odisha Capital recorded the highest maximum temperature in the country at 40.4 degrees Celsius.
“I and my family stayed indoors due to the increase in the day temperature. Though there was a light breeze in Bhubaneswar, the rise in the day temperature threw normal life out of gear,” said a resident of the city.
Cuttack city registered 37.5 degrees Celsius whereas Talcher and Malkangiri were at 38.7 and 38.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
