Odisha CB quizzes gangster Tito’s wife, gets vital leads

Kendrapara: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch today questioned Benazir Bibi, arrested gangster Syed Usman Ali alias Tito’s wife, over owning firms, petrol pumps and a luxurious car despite being a housewife.

A three-member STF team consisting of one DSP and two lady inspectors went to the residence of Tito here and quizzed Benazir in this regard for around 1.5 hours, reports said.

The team got vital leads as Benazir reportedly revealed names of three persons who assisted her in business. The STF is likely to grill the trio soon.

The probe team also visited Kendrapara CSO in order to ascertain how license was obtained for opening a petrol pump owned by Tito’s wife, reports added.

On the other hand, the Court of SDJM, Kendrapara today allowed the STF to take Tito on remand for three-days. He was produced before the court after completion of his second phase remand.
