Odisha CBI court sends Chhattisgarh man on two-day remand in fraud case

The Special CBI court here today allowed the Central investigating agency to take one Rajesh Kumar Jain, advocate of Raigarh in Chhattisgarh, arrested in a fraud case, on a two-day remand for further interrogation.

The decision of the court came today after the CBI produced the accused in the court after arresting him from Sundargarh district today.

CBI officials in the city arrested Jain in a fraud case in which he managed to divert Rs 35 lakhs from MCL B-G area Sundargarh to his account in the Punjab National Bank (PNB) in Raigarh.
