The Special CBI court in the Odisha capital today allowed the central investigation agency to take Chandrasen Shivaji Chouhan, another director of Ponzi firm Astha International on an eight day remand till February 22.

Chouhan who has been brought from Surat jail to Bhubaneswar was produced before the Special CBI court here amid tight security arrangements. Chouhan was arrested by Surat police in connection with the chit fund scam.
