Odisha chit fund scam: CP submits third list of AT Group properties

Bhubaneswar, June 7:

Commissionerate Police in Odisha today handed over the files containing details of properties worth Rs 50 crore of the chit fund company Artha Tatwa (AT) Group to the state Finance department as part of the process for their confiscation.

Informing this to media persons, the twin city police commissioner Dr R P Sharma said the property details submitted to the Finance department include 4 acres of land and 104 flats belonging to the ponzi company.

This is the third list of properties belonging to the AT Group that the Commissionerate Police has submitted to the Finance department for confiscation.

The first list that was submitted on January 28 this year contained a list of properties worth Rs 150 crore and the second list of May 9 had given details of properties worth Rs 200 crore.

With the submission of third list the total value of properties sought to be confiscated stands at Rs 400 crore.
