Odisha chit fund scam: hearing on ex Keonjhar MLA’s bail plea deferred again

Bhubaneswar, Dec 9:

The Khurda district and sessions judge court here today postponed the hearing on the bail plea of former BJD MLA Subarna Naik, arrested by the CBI in connection with the Odisha chit fund scam, to December 11.

This is the third time the court has deferred the bail plea petition of Naik.

On December 2, the court had puoff t the bail plea hearing date of Naik for today.

The former Keonjhar MLA was one of the directors of Nabadiganta Capital Services and arrested by the CBI along with two other fellow politicians who were also directors in the company: Mayurbhanj MP Ramchandra Hansda and former BJP MLA from Nuapada Hitesh Bagarti.
