The special CBI court here has asked Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) to present the chief of Saradha Group Sudipto Sen and director Debjani before it on October 27 for hearing in the Odisha chit fund scam case.

Similarly, the District and Session Judge Court here has also instructed the DCP Bhubaneswar to produce Seashore chief Prashant Dash before it on October 28.

Micro Finance Limited (MFL) managing director Ashok Patnaik has also been taken on a 9-day remand by the CBI for interrogation.
The EOW of CB had arrested Patnaik on charges of duping the public on June 29.

Earlier the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch had handed over these chit fund cases to the CBI along with all the relevant records and findings.
