Odisha CM announces ex-gratia for Cuttack bus accident victims
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today expressed deep grief over death of ten people in bus accident in Cuttack and announced ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the victims.
The CM also ordered to provide free treatment of the injured passengers at SCB Medical College and Hospital.

The district administration, fire brigade and police personnel were instructed to expedite the rescue operations.
Besides, Patnaik has directed Ministers Chandra Sarathi Behera and Pratap Jena to visit the accident site and monitor the situation.

According to official sources, at least 12 people were dead and over 35 suffered critical injuries when a bus in which they were travelling fell from Mahanadi bridge near Jagatpur in Cuttack this evening.
