Odisha CM condoles death of ‘tallest leader’ Vajpayee

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik condoled the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee calling him “one of India’s tallest leaders”.

I am deeply grieved by the sad demise of Vajpayee ji. India has lost one of the tallest leaders. He was love by the people of India and of course by the people of Odisha as well. May his soul rest in peace,” Patnaik told reporters at AIIMS-Delhi earlier today.

The 93-year-old former Prime Minister, who was admitted in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on June 11, was “on life support”.
