Odisha CM flags off video vans for ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Vikas’ programme

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today flagged off mobile video vans for ‘Ama Gaon Ama Vikas’ programme that will move across the State to highlight various welfare schemes of the State government at villages.

Through these Wi-Fi enabled vans, people can directly air their grievances to the Chief Minister’s Office through at the State Secretariat in the capital city.

Videos walls, developed with using latest technology, have been put up at the Chief Minister’s chamber and at the Convention hall in the Secratrait, official sourses said.

After flagging off the vans, Naveen said the initiative will help people in solving their grievances in an expeditious manner.

The vans will reach Koraput, Jajpur, Ganjam and Sambalpur in the first phase, the source added.

Chief Secretary AP Padhi, Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy, Sports and Information & Technology Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera were present at the inaugural ceremony.
