Odisha CM inaugurates Pandit Raghunath Murmu MCH in Baripada

Baripada: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital (MCH) here in Mayurbhanj district.

With that, Odisha got its fifth state-run medical college and hospital.

The classes of first batch of MBBS students for 2017-18 session also started at the medical college from today. A total of 100 students– 67 male and 33 female– have taken admission in MBBS stream.

The medical college is expected to play a big role in providing quality health services to the people of north Odisha and neighbouring states of Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Worth mentioning, the CM had on September 4 inaugurated Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College & Hospital in Koraput.
