Odisha CM launches 129 projects worth Rs 66.62 cr in Gajapati

Paralakhemundi: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated as many as 129 welfare projects worth Rs 66.62 crore for Mohana, Nuagarh, R Udayagiri and Raigarh blocks of Gajapati district.

During his one-day visit to the district, the CM also laid foundation stone for 98 development projects worth Rs 13.77 crore for the areas.

The new projects will augment connectivity and irrigation in the region and enhance civic amenities, official sources said.

On the occasion, Patnaik also unveiled a statue of 8th century Buddhist sage Guru Padmasambhava. “Gajapati district is shining on the tourist map of India. The state government will continue to promote Buddhist Tourism in Odisha,” he said.
