Odisha CM offers Rs 1 lakh ex gratia each to kin of girls killed in accident

Bhubaneswar, July 26:

The Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh each to the families of two young girls Debasmita Mohapatra and Sunita Nayak who were run over by a truck at Chapatpanka near Mohana in Gajapati district on July 24, a release from the CMO said today.

Patnaik has expressed grief over the death of the two girls in the tragic accident and conveyed his condolence to the breaved families.

The ex gratia would be given from the chief minister’s relief fund, the relase added.
