Some important projects such as national highway construction, Sakshigopal underpass and railway over bridge were taken up at a high level meeting chaired by the Chief Minister to take stock of the progress of various incomplete projects.

While the deadline for completion of the national highway construction project has been set for February 2016, railway over bridge construction has been targeted to be completed by December this year and the Sakshigopal underpass would be completed by October this year, said Nabakalebar Infrastructure Supervision Committee Chief Maheswar Mohanty after the meeting.

“Today we reviewed the progress of construction and other infrastructure development projects taken up for the Nabakalebara. The Chief Minister has set deadlines for the incomplete projects. We have also decided to completely document the entire Nabakalebara process for future reference,” he said.

The drainage and sewerage systems of Puri town were also taken up in the meeting attended by the Maheswar Mohanty, Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, departmental ministers, Puri Collector and SP as well.
