Bhubaneswar, Aug 19:
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate Indian shuttler PV Sindhu for scripting history at Rio Olympics. However, he goofed up on the Twitter handle of the badminton player and congratulated her on a closely similar handle.
He wished silver medallist Sindhu on @Pvsindhu whereas her verified handle is @Pvsindhu1.
The account @Pvsindhu belongs to one Sindhu Krishnan.
The Chief Minister tweeted:
Congratulate @pvsindhu, the first Indian woman to win Silver at #Olympics Played like a champion & an inspiration for our youth #Rio2016.

The Twitteraties trolled the Chief Minister for the blunder.
dear CM you have tagged the wrong person. It's @Pvsindhu1 not @pvsindhu

Moments later, the tweet was deleted and a corrected version was put up.
Congratulate @Pvsindhu1, the first Indian woman to win Silver at #Olympics. Played like a champion & an inspiration for our youth #Rio2016.
