Odisha: Cold wave conditions return as Yellow Warning issued for these districts

Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions have made a comeback in Odisha while the Regional Meteorological Centre has issued Yellow Warning in this regard for several districts.

Below are day-wise forecast of the Meteorological Centre in connection with the cold wave.

* Day 1 (valid from 1330 hrs IST of 31.01.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2021)– Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul.

* Day 2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 02.02.2021)– Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul.

* Day 3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 02.02.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 03.02.2021)– Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul.

People of the districts have been advised to stay indoors and avoid movement during night and early morning.
