Odisha cops pose as customer, bust sex racket in Balangir

Balangir: A prostitution racket was busted in western Odisha town of Balangir today with arrest of three persons allegedly involved in the incident.

Acting on complaint that a sex racket was running in the area, police sent a decoy customer to a rented house near Balangir Medical College and Hospital here. The ‘customer’ sought service from the girls owing which the cops got confirmation of the immoral act being carried out at the house.

The Town Police Station conducted a surprise raid at the house and rescued two girls from the spot.

Meanwhile, three youth were arrested for their alleged involvement.

Police seized condoms, performance-enhancing drugs, sensual massage oil and other objectionable materials from the spot.

On the other hand, the local residents had been complaining of a sex racket being run at a rented house in the hospital area.
