Odisha: Court directs Varsha to vacate Anubhav’s house

Cuttack: A significant development happened in the ongoing marital discord between actress Varsha Priyadarshini and actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty today as the Cuttack Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court directed Varsha to vacate the actor’s parental house.

The court stated Varsha has to leave Anubhav’s house within two months after receiving Rs 30,000 as compensation from the actor. It further directed Anubhav to pay the compensation amount to Varsha within 10th of every month.

Based on a petition filed by the Kendrapara MP, the Cuttack SDJM court passed the directives to both Varsha and Anubhav today.

In his petition, Anubhav stated he did not want to stay any longer with Varsha under one roof. Also, he mentioned as his parents are unwell and not comfortable with Varsha staying at his ancestral house, he sought a court directive to Varsha for vacating the place.

While hearing another case of divorce between Anubhav and Varsha, the Orissa High Court on May 27 ordered the actor-turned-politician to refrain from making any video/comment against his wife. It also passed a directive to Varsha to stay away from making any comment on the issue before any media, including social media.
