Odisha COVID-19 cases: TPR rises marginally as 734 more test positive

Bhubaneswar: As many as 734 persons, including 101 children below 18 years of age, tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 69326 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR), which was 0.80% a day before, increased slightly and stood at 1.05%.

Khurda district reported highest 335 fresh infections, followed Cuttack (91) and Jagatsinghpur (32).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1021950 with 5521 active cases.

The Health Department also reported four more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 8150.
