Odisha COVID cases: 762 including 102 children test positive, TPR 1.17%

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 762 fresh COVID-19 cases, including 102 children below 18 years of age, during the last 24 hours while a total of 64602 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.17%.

Khurda district registered highest 314 new infections, followed by Cuttack (119) and Mayurbhanj (29).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1013567 with 6853 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 8 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll rose to 8070.

The state had yesterday reported 638 new COVID-19 cases, including 93 children below 18 years of age, while a total of 57303 samples were tested. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.11%.
