Odisha delegation to visit China for seeking investment

Bhubaneswar: A delegation from Odisha led by State Industries Minister Anant Das will visit Fuzhou in China on August 31 to showcase invest opportunities to Chinese industries, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today.

A six-member business delegation of Fujian Province of China today met Patnaik at the State Secretariat with an objective of seeking business ties with Odisha. The CM invited the delegation to the ‘Make in Odisha’ investors meet scheduled to be held here in November.

During the discussion, Patnaik said resource rich Odisha is one of the top three states of the country in attracting live manufacturing investments.

Notably, the state government has partnered with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for the second edition of ‘Make in Odisha’ Conclave scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from November 11 to 15.
