Odisha doctor in soup for ‘misbehaving’ with nurse

Bhubaneswar: A doctor at Chandabali community health centre (CHC) in Bhadrak district of Odisha has been booked for misbehaving with a nurse of the health facility.

The doctor had reportedly outraged the modesty of the nurse. The victim lodged a complaint in this regard with Chandabali police, sources said.

The police have registered a case in this regard and recorded the statement of the victim under Section 164 of the CrPC. However, the police are yet to arrest the accused, sources added.

“We are probing the incident after registering a case in this regard,” said an official of the Chandabali police.

However, the doctor could not be reached for his reaction on the issue.
