Odisha FAO Super League: Rising Star, Radharaman win opening tie

Rising Star Club and Radhagobinda Club won their respective matches on the first day of the Odisha FAO Super League Football Tournament at Barabati Stadium here today.

In the first encounter, Rising Star Club defeated SAI- STC by 3-2 goals in a keenly contest match.

Arjit Keora was the start attraction scoring two goals for Rising Star Club while his team mate Guman Shrestha scored one goal.

For SAI- STC, Saswat Swain and Kuanar Marandi scored a goal each.

In the other match, Radharaman Club beat Sunrise Club by 2-1 goals.

The goal scorer for Radharaman Club were Emanuel Immi and Kanu with one goal each while Wasu Hassan of the Sunrise Club scored the only goal through a penalty kick.
