Odisha: Farmer found dead inside forest; suicide suspected

Bargarh: The body of a farmer, who was missing since February 28, was recovered from a forest near Kharamuda village under Attabira block in Bargarh distrct today.

The deceased has been identified as Subha Rana of Kharamuda village.

Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, his family members allege that Subha has committed suicide due to loan burden and crop loss.

As per the family members, Subha had taken loan from private moneylenders for cultivation. However, he incurred a heavy loss after the cops were damaged due to pest attack. He committed suicide after he failed to repay the loan.
