Odisha: Four-year-old boy dies after falling into well

Nuapada: A pall of gloom has descended on Talapadar village under Sinapali police limits in Nuapada district since yesterday. A four-year-old boy, who had come to his maternal uncle’s house, died on Monday evening after falling into a village well.

The deceased, identified as Jitendra Majhi of Chhindekela village was playing with other children when he fell into the well. The kid’s friends immediately informed his family member about the incident.

With the help of some locals, the family members recovered the boy’s body from the well.

After getting information, police reached the spot and registered an unnatural death case. Investigation is underway into the incident.
