Odisha gangster Tito involved in cattle smuggling too!

Bhubaneswar: Arrested gangster Sayed Usman Ali alias Tito’s involvement in cattle smuggling came to fore today after the Special Task Force of the Odisha Crime Branch arrested his two associates.

The arrested have been identified as Batakrishna Pani (45) alias Batu, a resident of Kalinga Vihar under Tomando police limits in Bhubaneswar and Saroj Pati (31) of Kendrapara.

Official sources said Batu was involved in cattle smuggling activities of Tito. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a car has been seized from his possession. One unlicensed pistol was also seized from him during investigation.

Both Batu and Saroj were assisting Tito in tender fixing, extortion, murder and other criminal activities, sources added.

The accused duo has been forwarded to court.
