Odisha Gatikrushna Memorial Football: Brahmeswar storms into semis

Brahmeswar Sporting stormed into the semi-final after they beat Ekamra Sporting by 5-3 goals in a tie-breaker in the 11th Gatikrushna Memorial Division-B Football League Tournament at Unit-6 High School ground in the Odisha’s capital city today.

The tie-breaker was applied after the match ended in a 1-1 draw in the allotted time.

For the winning team, L Mohanty scored two goals while Raj Kishore Majhi, Avijeet Patnaik And Rakesh Behera scored a goal each.

For Ekamra Sporting, D Bhanjdeo, Abhijit Nanda And Pratik Bhanja scored a goal each.

In the other quarter-final match, KIIT University would meet Tiger Youth Club tomorrow.
