Odisha girl commits suicide for failing in matric exams

Disappointed after failing in Odisha matriculation exams a girl committed suicide, yesterday in Bhadrak district of Odisha.

The deceased had been identified as Priya Jena daughter of Pradeep Jena, a native of Sirahansapur village in Bhandripokri block.
After Priya saw that she has got Grade C, which means fail in the HSC matriculation exams. She was found hanging in her house from a ceiling fan in 11 am, yesterday.
As she was a good student, she has expected an ‘A’ Grade, she was upset about poor result and took the drastic step, according to sources.
Family members took her to the Badrak hospital were she was declared brought dead.
