Odisha Governor visits Sudarsan’s sand art on voting awareness

Puri: Governor Ganeshi Lal today visited the sand art of international sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik carved on the sea beach here with a message on voting awareness.

Speaking to media on the sand sculpture that displayed a message stating ‘Vote for Better India’ and ‘Your Vote Your Voice’, the Governor said Pattnaik’s attempt to create this unique message through his sand art is unique in itself.

“The artist has always tried to create such awareness on everyone’s right to vote. And I feel, no one should use the ‘None of the Above (NOTA)’ option while casting their votes. If a person dose not like any of the candidates, then he/she should nominate himself/herself for the elections,” the Governor said.
