Odisha govt approves to grant varsity status to CV Raman College

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government approved a proposal on granting university status to CV Raman College of Engineering here.

The proposal to grant varsity status to CV Raman College has been approved, confirmed Higher Education Additional Secretary PK Das.

The move came on recommendation of high level empowered committee that submitted its report after reviewing all the angles of the college.

The bill to grant university status to the college will be tabled by Skill Development and Technical Education department in winter session of Odisha Assembly, sources in the higher education department said.
