The ace sprinter was today felicitated at the state secretariat by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for her achievement at the recently-concluded 55th National Open Athletic Championship held at Kolkata.

The chief minister presented the athlete a bouquet and a Dokra casting memento.

The Odisha speedster clinched three gold medals in 100m, 200m and 4X100m relay at the national event.

Dutee, who was banned from participating in the 2014 Commonwealth Games (CWG) at Glasgow for hyperandrogenism (high levels of male hormone), expressed her gratitude to the government for lending its support behind her while she was going through the rough patch.

However, she was later cleared by the Court of Arbitration for Sports and allowed her to participate in all international events.
