Odisha govt confiscates 33 plots of three chit fund companies

The Odisha government has confiscated 33 plots of three chit fund companies in Deland tehsil of Puri district.

According to reports, a team of officials, led by the tehsildar of Delang tehsil Narendra Chandra Sabar, confiscated the lands after identifying.

Of the three chit fund companies, the Sai Pragati Associate and Properties Pvt Ltd, Vision Worldwide Concept Ltd and Umamani Creations had owned 33 plots measuring 6.25 acres of land in Haripur panchayat.

It may be mentioned that the CBI, during investigation, had come to know that these three companies had purchased these land with the money invested by the depositors.
