Odisha govt effects bureaucratic reshuffle; Details here

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has effected a minor reshuffle in bureaucratic level. As per a notification of the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, on return from Central Deputation, IFS officer Sanjeev Kumar Chadha has been appointed as Special Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department.

He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Special Secretary to Government, Cooperation Department and Director, Agricultural Marketing and Ex-Officio Member Secretary, OSAM Board in addition to his own duties.

The additional appointment of Biswa Ranjan Sasmal, IRS (IT) as Director, Agricultural Marketing and Ex-Officio Member Secretary, OSAM Board shall stand terminated from the date Sanjeev Kumar Chadha takes over.

IAS officer Aravind Agrawal, Director, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development Department with additional charge of Managing Director, Mahila Vikas Samabaya Nigam is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Rural Development in addition to his own duties.

Similarly, IAS officer Shubham Saxena, Joint Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department is appointed as Director, Minor Minerals, Revenue & Disaster Management Department.

He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Joint Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers Empowerment Department in addition to his own duties.
