Odisha govt effects reshuffle in IAS cadre

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a bureaucratic reshuffle with transfer of as many as five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.

A notification from the General Administration department to this effect was issued this evening.

As per the notification, 2017 batch IAS officer Somesh Kumar Upadhyay posted as CGM, OMFED, Bhubaneswar with additional charge of CEO, Hockey Promotion Council, Bhubaneswar has been transferred and appointed as Sub-Collector, Titlagarh. Upadhyay will be the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Titlagarh in Balangir district. He will also remain in additional charge of Executive Officer, Titlagarh Municipality.

Similarly, Anvesha Reddy (2017 batch), ED, OMC Ltd with additional charge of ED, OMECL has been appointed as Sub-Collector, Baripada. He will be the Sub-Divisional Magistrate with additional charge of Executive Officer, Baripada Municipality.

Patil Ashish Ishwar serving as ED, GRIDCO has been transferred as Sub Collector, Balasore. He will discharge his duty as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Balasore and will remain in additional charge of Executive Officer, Balasore Municipality.

On the other hand, Divakara T.S, OSD, OCAC has been appointed as Sub-Collector, Dharmagarh in Kalahandi district. He will be the Sub-Divisional Magistrate as well as be in additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Dharmagarh.

Hema Kanta Say, MD (in-charge) of OTDC has been transferred as SubCollector, Jeypore. He has been appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Executive Officer in the district of Koraput. Besides, he will remain in additional charge of Executive Officer, Jeypore Municipality.
