Odisha govt to procure medicines worth Rs 239 Cr

The Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd (OSMCL), the independent procurement agency for the Health and Family Welfare department will be procuring 426 types of medicines for 2016-17 at an estimated value of Rs 239 crore, sources said.

Pharmaceutical companies having two years of experience in drug manufacturing can participate in the tender, sources added.

Sources revealed that the OSMCL which began the tender process on Saturday has called for a meeting with the participating pharmaceutical companies on June 4.

Pharmaceutical companies can fill up tender applications online from June 3 till July 4, the sources added.
