“I have asked the concerned departments and eight district collectors affected by cyclone to furnish reports on losses incurred due to Hudhud. They have been asked to submit their reports by October 16. Once we get the reports, we will place a memorandum before the Centre,” said Mohapatra to media persons here.

He said the rescue and relief teams are working on a war footing to restore electricity facilities in the four districts affected by the cyclone.

“The restoration work is on and we hope complete normalcy would return within 48 hours,” the SRC said.
