The logo design proposal by the secretary, Tourism and Culture, Arabinda Padhee, was approved by chief minister Naveen Patnaik.

Stating that the new logo would be used in all advertisements and government programmes on Nabakelabara, Padhi said that the department would request the media to use the logo from the department website www.orissatourism.gov.in  while carrying news relating to Nabakalebara.

He said the state government has prepared a blueprint to draw the attention of the people across the globe.

Talking about the steps taken by the Tourism and Culture department, Padhi said a Nabakalebara cell has been set up at the newly constructed office of the Tourism department at Puri.

“Apart from this, the state government has started a documentary on Nabakalebara for which the department has taken necessary steps,” he informed.

Padhee also said that the department has renovated yajna mandap and other areas of the Deuli math at Puri.

Apart from this, the Tourism has also made elaborate arrangements at Alarnath temple in Brahmagiri to facilitate the devotees to have a darshan of Lord Alarnath during Anasara ritual that would continue for one-and-half months, he said.
