Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government’s Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS) project won the ‘Gold’ category award at the 24th National Conference on e-Governance organized by the Government of India.
BLUIS is a 5T project implemented by the Odisha Government’s General Administration & Public Grievance Department in collaboration with BDA, BMC and ORSAC.
BLUIS competed with 89 high-tech projects of Central and State Government agencies to emerge victorious.
Concerned officials of the state government received the award from Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of Personnel.
The BLUIS project uses cutting edge technology including satellite imagery and Artificial Intelligence to safeguard precious Government land in Bhubaneswar.
BLUIS was launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on July 8, 2020.
While complementing the department and ORSAC for the accomplishment, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra advised to have more of the innovative technological applications for supporting the quick and informed decision making.
