Odisha: Hotter days ahead as IMD issues heat wave warning for several districts

Bhubaneswar: Mercury across Odisha is likely to soar after a couple of days as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heat wave warning for several districts of the state.

Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Bolangir, Sonepur and Boudh on March 16, the IMD forecasted and issued Yellow Warning for the districts.

Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul Nayagarh and Khurda on March 17, the IMD predicted and issued Yellow Warning for the districts.

The agency further forecasted that there will be no large change in maximum temperature (Day Temperature) during the next 2 days and rise thereafter by 3-4 degree Celsius over the districts of Odisha.
