Bhubaneswar: Extending helping hand, popular Jatra artiste Rani Panda has contributed Rs 50,000 for the battle against novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Odisha
The artist made the announcement through a video message today.
“The COVID-19 has taken the world by storm. In view of its outbreak in Odisha, I have contributed Rs 50,000 to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to fight the highly infectious disease. I am praying to Lord Jagannath for safety of all,” said Rani in a video message.
She urged everyone to abide the rules during lockdown clamped by the government to tackle the crisis.
“People should not mess up things by facing-off with police during lockdown. I am hopeful that Odisha will overcome the pandemic situation very soon,” she said.
