Odisha KMBM Inter School Football: RSK, KV-2 in pre-quarters

Bhubaneswar, Aug 26:

Ramakrushna Sikhya Kendra (RSK) and Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) No-2 entered the pre-quarterfinals of the 25th Kalinga Marine-Bibekananda Memorial (KMBM) Inter School Football Tournament at Unit-VI Govt Boys’ High School ground in the Odisha capital on Tuesday.

In the first match, RSK edged out Kalinga Vidyapitha 1-0 with the lone goal scored by Sumit Tirkey in the 6th minute. With this win, RSK has topped Group D with six points.

In the other match, KV-2 thrashed Aurobinda Integral School by 3-1 goals in Group-H.

For KV-2, Ashutosh Basantaray scored two goals while Abinash Samal scored the third goal. Debasish Barik scored the only goal for Aurobinda Intergral School.

In the next two matches, Delhi Public School will meet St Joseph School and Sainik School will meet DAV School, Unit-VIII tomorrow.
