Odisha KMBM Inter School Football: Unit-VI, Aurobinda enter pre-quarters

Government Boys High School Unit-6 and Sri Aurobindo School, Khandagiri entered the pre-quarter final round of the 25th Kalinga Marine-Bibekananda Memorial (KMBM) Inter-School Football Tournament at Unit-VI Govt Boys’ High School Ground here today.

In the Group-B league match, Unit-VI defeated Govt High School, IRC Village by 2-1 goals in a close encounter.

For Unit-VI, Sanjay Kumar Sahu and Dushamanta Naik scored a each while Purusatam Nag of Govt High School, IRC Village, scored the only goal for his team.

Sanjay Sahu of Unit-VI High School was adjudged the man-of-the-match.

In the Group-H league match, Sri Aurobindo School defeated DAV Pokhariput by 1-0 goal.

Tapas Nayak netted the all-important goal in the 17th minute and received the man of the match award.

In the next matches, Xavier International School would meet Vikash School of Khandagiri and DAV Chandrashekharpur would meet Mother Public School tomorrow.
