On the basis of his previous statements to the court, Crime Branch lawyer Rajendra Prasad Sahu grilled Dandasena for about an hour in which the latter admitted that he had enmity with Itishree and had threatened her in a mobile phone of his nephew Narendra Dandesena.

Though he said he was in touch with former Koraput MP Jayaram Pangi on this issue, he, however, claimed he had not killed the lady teacher.

The court later decided to hear the case tomorrow after admitting a petition of Netrananda’s counsel Bishnu Prasad Panda who pleaded that his client has not committed the murder under section 232 of the CrPC.

While CBI DSP MK Pathak is presently investigating the case, sources said the CBI Inspector RD Sharma today left for New Delhi to submit the preliminary investigation report to the Supreme Court tomorrow.
