Odisha: Last date for admissions into elementary/secondary classes extended

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has extended the last date for admissions into elementary/secondary classes till August 14 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation and lockdown in some districts.

The School & Mass Education Department has written a letter in this regard to all District Education Officers and Block Education Officers.

The previous deadline for the admissions was July 15. However, it has been extended due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation and imposition of lockdown in Ganjam, Khordha, Cuttack, Jajpur districts and Rourkela Municipal Corporation area till July 31.
