Odisha Legal Metrology asst controller in Vigilance net

Rourkela: A team of vigilance raided the houses of Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology Bidyadhar Biswal here this morning for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.

The raids were conducted at five places including the office at Civil Township and his government residence.

Besides, the vigilance sleuths also raided Biswal’s ancestral house in Balugaon, his three-storey building at Pokhariput in Bhubaneswar and his in-laws house at Patrapada.

Till the filing of the report, the raids were underway.
