Odisha likely to experience rainfall for next 4 days

Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation over north coastal Odisha and neighbourhood is likely to trigger rainfall across the state for the next four days, the Regional Meteorological Centre predicted.

Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh and Ganjam districts would experience heavy downpour during the period, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.

“The cyclonic circulation over north Coastal Odisha and neighbourhood between 3.1 km & 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists,” a bulletin of the India Meteorological Centre issued at 7.45 am said today.

Besides, a low pressure area is very likely to form over north Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during next 48 hours. Another low pressure area is likely to form over north Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood around 16th July, the bulletin added.
