Odisha litterateur Sitakanta Mohapatra conferred with Limca “People of the Year” award

Eminent litterateur of Odisha Dr Sitakanta Mohapatra was conferred with the Limca Book of Records (LBR) “People of the Year” award for the year 2015 at the 26^th edition of the LBR Award at the Jaipur Literature Festival at Jaipur in Rajastahan launched by the Coca-Cola India today.

The editorial team of the Limca Book of Records announced the name of 15 eminent litterateurs for the “People of The Year” award in recognition of their profound contribution in the field of literature.

The list was chosen by a jury comprising of HK Dua, MP, Rajya Sabha and senior journalist, Karthika VK, publisher and chief editor Harper & Collins, India; Dr K Sreenivasa Rao, secretary, Sahitya Akademi and Sir William Mark Tully, author and former bureau chief of BBC, New Delhi.
