Odisha logs 11807 fresh COVID-19 cases; Cuttack crosses 1000 infections in single day

Bhubaneswar: In steep rise in COVID-19 infections across the country in  second wave, Odisha registered 11807 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.

Of total cases, 6613 were reported from quarantine centres and 5194 are local contacts.

Sundargarh district continues to top the list with the highest number of positive cases with 1922 followed by Khordha district with 1510. Cuttack stands third registering over 1000 infections in a single day for the first time in the second wave. The district reported 1052 in the last 24 hours.
