Odisha logs 1833 new COVID-19 cases with 2.58% TPR; 67 more die

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1833 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Odisha while a total of 71039 samples were tested, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 2.58%.

Khurda district reported highest 490 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (243) and Puri (139). No new COVID-19 cases were detected in Boudh and Nuapada districts.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 967548 with 18914 active cases.

The Health Department has reported 67 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll rose to 5512. Khurda district registered highest 24 fatalities.
